Charlise is a longtime friend with whom I'd lost touch over the years. I thank God for social media, if used prudently you can reconnect with friends from long ago. That happened for us, when I saw her posting of the recent death of her son, I reached out to her and learned so much more about what had been happening in her life. She is a phenomenal woman, she sat down with us to discuss her life, the tragic beginning, rising professionally, parenting, marriage, failure, grief and loss and NOW the comeback. She credits Jesus Christ, the support of loving women and therapy for helping her to come back from a long and dark journey she didn't even realize she was on.
